Orphaned 1959, adopted out in 1960, MO.

Looking for my 3 cousins; Hugo Christopher Dohrman b. 8-2-1954, Mary Christina Dohrman b. 10-28-1955, and their baby half brother Delbert Allen Timmings b. 8-22-1958 (may have been Dohrman on his birth cert. though). They were all born in/or very near Higginsville, MO. (in Lafayette Co.) The family lived in Higginsville, but I'm not sure where the nearest hospital was. Their mother Shirley (Whitesitt) Dohrmann died in a fire in August of 1959, and then Uncle Hugo (Dohrman) was killed in a car accident in October of 1959. Hugo was 5, Mary was 4 & Delbert Allen was just over 1. I do not know where they were adopted out of, I just know that the State would not give them to anyone in our family, or Shirley's family, because we were "too poor". I would hope that whoever adopted them let them keep their first & middle names, since they already had their own identities by then, but who knows. I would love to get in touch with my cousins, to let them know that they were loved, very much wanted and never forgotten! My family, as well as Aunt Shirley's family are searching for them. If anyone knows anything, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Karmen
the_family_historian@yahoo.com
