I should make a project to find the immigration of the Dohrman family. There is much information available about Hamburg these days too. Only it is usually after 1890's at ancestry.I suspect that Dora Seil who married Henry Dohrmann might have been related to the Seil at Joliet and Troy of Will county Illinois. I think it may be why they stopped there first before going on to Calhoun and Greene county Iowa to [the Farnham church area]. I may have mentioned this at http//arootdigger.blogspot.com/ in archives. There my whole duty is to write and supply information on the colonists from Oldendorf and Nahrendor [ bleckede, goehrde, Dannenberg, and Lune areas]
The Dohrman of this area of iowa had children one of which married Vogel. See Tom Vogel tree.
