My grandfather's name was John Edward Doidge, born 3/6/1909. He was known as Jack and has lived as child at 2 Hingston View, 205 Whitchurch Rd Tavistock. His father was Stephen Tooker-Parker Doidge and his mother's name was Margaret Louise Doidge. Stephen seems to be the child of William and Harriet Doidge. John Doidge came to New Zealand late 1930's, we believe on his own and then fought in Italy and Africa for NZ. He married my grandmother Neata Faye Wilkins in 1947. My mother and i have very little about him and his family, I think he was an only child. We are keen to find out more about his family tree and any living relatives or family knowledge.
