I know we will never get to a gathering, but my great grandmother was Margaret Doig born in Scotland in 1832. She married David Lamb, and they came to the US. Both are buried in Fort Wayne Indiana at the Lindenwood Cemetery.

Did you have quite a few people attne the gathering of the Doig's. I have been unable to find any information on the great grandparents prior to their coming to the US. No records that I have checked come up with anything.

You can reach me at hmundt31yahoo.com I have information in the ancestry on the couple where they were born etc., however I have a lady now that has contacted me about the Lambs and she is finding other information that maybe they were born in Ireland, however my great aunt who was a daughter of these people knew they came from Scotland, but she has been dead since 1949. Her name was Anna Lamb and she lived with my parents for many years, until her death in 1949. At that time I had no interest in the family tree.
