Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate the life of Elizabeth Bangerter from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Old South Church, 9802 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, Ohio. (Lake County)
Mrs. Bangerter passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.
Born Nov. 29, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio she had lived in Kirtland for the past 55 years.

She also enjoyed painting and sewing.

Mrs. Bangerter was employed at Structural Fibers in Chardon, Ohio before her retirement.
Survivors are her children, Lynn (Jim) Hupp of Mentor, Ohio Kathy (David) Uncapher of Burton, Ohio and Charles (Jill) Bangerter of Kirtland; grandchildren, Elizabeth Murzynsky, Teresa (Rich) Stopek, Michael (Maureen) Uncapher, Natalie Uncapher, Matthew (Tina) Bangerter, Rebekah Kusar and Deborah (Steve) Dilley; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She also leaves her best friend, Betty Lou (Ed) Heiss of Euclid, Ohio.
Her husband of 52 years, James F. Bangerter, passed away March 5, 1999.

Her parents, Charles and Elizabeth (Wood) Doig; brother, Sam Doig; and sister, Ann Dremel, are also deceased.
Private entombment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
