Have you been able to find any information on the Doig family history. I just started to do research on my family tree something I have always wanted to do. My Mother was a Doig born to Walter Thomas ( Ralph ) Doig. His Parents were Paul & Annie Doig which were from Lachute, Quebec and then moved to Saskatchewan. They first settled in the Hoosier, Saskatchewan. and then Kindersley, Saskatchewan. Some were along my grandfather married a woman named Winnifred Ballentyne Doig .They had two daughters named Doreen & Phyllis Doig . My grandmother Winnifred Ballentyne Doig dyed shortly after my mother was born .My Aunt Doreen was left with relatives in Sask. And my mom was left with the Stevens family in Kitscoty Alberta. I believe my aunt was left with a Doig family and there daughter I believe was named Babe which could be your grandmother. Is Babe Doig still alive? My Mother met a man in Kitscoty by the name of Wilson George Stewart( John ) and married .I have always wondered what was the history of my Grandmother Winnifred Ballentyne Doig. I have seached high and low and yet to find any thing on her except that it says she dyed on May 1933 , But yet my mom was born on June 20 1933 ???????? I have found a just about complete histrory on the Doig family that I can send you if you would like.
