Take Brian's advice and get the marriage record and the SS card application records. My Doiron family moved to Gardner from St. Louis de Kent, New Brunswick (after being kicked around PEI and Matepedia, QC - we were dirt-poor). It is highly likely that my Doiron's were related to you Doiron's. My grandmother, Lucie Doiron was the daughter of Joseph Doiron and Marie-Louise Essiambre. Lucie would have been one generation older than Emile/Ernest, so it is possible that one of Lucie's siblings was Emile's parent. I don't have a lot of information about them, but I included everything I have about Lucie's siblings in the text below.
