I am related to the Dolak's that lived in Sykesville, PA. My great grandfather was John Dolak who lived in Sykesville, PA and died in a mine accident. His wife, my great grandmother, was Helen Plofchan. They had six daughters and one son. My mother has verified some research on her mother's side I have found, but I would love to find out more about my family.

Hi, my name is Debbie and I have spent the last 23 years with Howard C. Dolak III. He was born in Hollywood, Ca. and his mothers name was Gertrude Whittington Dolak and she was married to Howard C. Dolak II. Howard also had a sister named Diana who now lives in Franklin, Texas under her married name Diana Toste. Howard and I had 2 children together, a son Howard C. Dolak IV and a daughter Tisha Beatrice Dolak. We did live in Conneaut, Ohio but we recently moved to Dorset, Ohio. Sad and heart broken and still in shock my Howard passed away on January 8, 2011 just 1 day before his 51st Birthday.

My grandmother was Julia Marie Dolak (Dolakova) , born 24 January 1903 Olomouc, Moravia, Czechoslavakia. She immigrated thru Ellis Island in July 1922 In coming to America she was sponsored by her aunt and uncle: Erich Wojna, who was born in Austria (now Poland) and his wife Julie. They owned a bakery in New York City. I know her mother was Marie Dolokova, born 4 May 1881, and her grandmother was Frantiska, born 22 June 1842. I am seeking information about her ancestors especially her father. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
