It's been long believed by our family that we are related to Julia Boggs Dent who married President U.S. Grant.

In speaking with my mother, who followed up with my uncle, supposedly the connection is through Nettie A. Doland (1868-1920) who married Rolla Erwin Childs (1865-1934). Nettie's parents were George E. Doland (1831-1909) and Ann Farmer (1832-1899).

I was wondering if anyone out there can confirm/deny this connection. If there is connection, can you point me in this right direction to connect up the 2 family lines?
