Hi Jerry,

Do you think there many be any chance of a link between your "Dolese", and the surname of either DOLCI, DOLCE, of which were shortened from DOLCEMASCOLO, DOLCIMASCOLO.
The surname in general, came from northern Sicily, from the town/village of Lecara-Friddi, Palermo, Sicily. Perosnally I had a GGGrandmother Rosa DOLCEMASCOLO (or DOLCIMASCOLO, depending on record), that married my GGreat Grandfather, Vincenzo SCLAFANI in 1858, Sciacca, Agrigento, Sicily, Italy.

Looking for Alice Cavalier Who Married a Henry Dolese.
Late 1800's / Early 1900's From Louisiana

I was close but no cigar. I just recently started looking for info. In fact 4 weeks.
The only date that I have different to Henry and Alices' Marriage date the year infact.
I have 1900
