I am searching for a Samuel Dollarhide who was probably born between 1750 to 1775. A son of his would have been William Dollarhite. William Dollarhite married Elizabeth Riddle in 1832 in Stokes County, NC. William and Elizabeth Dollarhite's first born sons were twins. One twin was named Samuel, the other named Tyre. Tyre was Elizabeth's father. So I believe they named the first born sons after each grandfather. The next born son was named William Harden Dollarhite.

If anyone has any information that may be help lead to someone from this family, then I would be very interested. William Dollarhite was my 3rd great-grandfather. I have not been able to find his father to trace my ancestry back any further.
