I got your email. I think that we are looking for the same thing. My grandfather Ray Dolly was an orphan untill the age of 11. His parents were not married and when he was three his mother dumped him and his brother off at an orphanage. He did later know his father. He didnt communication with him because of how he was abanded. So all info about the Dolly's was never really known. All that my father and I do know is that Dolly was supposably Irish. We had all thought that untill another Dolly sent us info about the history of it. It went all that way back to the 1700's.
