I recently acquired a box of newspaper clippings that included the following undated clipping from the Cumberland, Maryland, "Times-News"
Irad H. Dolly - Irad Henry Dolly, 57, of Murley's Branch, RD 2, Flintstone, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for five years.
Born in Petersburg, W. Va., he was a son of the late Lucian and Belinda (Nelson) Dolly. Mr. Dolly was a retired employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company and a member of Flintstone Brethren Church.
Surviving are his widow, Olive (Ash) Dolly; two daughters, Mrs. Otha Van Meter, Brice Hollow Road, and Mrs. William Twigg, Anchorage, Alaska; nine sons, Blaine and Carroll Dolly, both of RD 1, Oldtown; Ellis Dolly, Spring Gap; Leo Dolly, Hillside, Md.; Borden Dolly, Brice Hollow Road; Pressley Dolly, at home; Kenneth Dolly, Elkton, Md.; Nelson Dolly, Fort Sill, Okla.; and Ernest Dolly, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; six brothers, Matthew Dolly, Murley's Branch; Japser Dolly, Williams Road; Arlie Dolly, Kentland, Md.; Robert L. Dolly, Ridgeley, and Isom Dolly, Great Cacapon, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Drewer, Houston, Texas, and Miss Esther I. Dolly, Cumberland; two half sisters, Mrs. Irvin Hannon, Oldtown, and Mrs. Joseph Kisamore, Petersburg, and 16 grandchildren.
The body is at the George Funeral Home."
