Mmmmmmmmmm, in response to Tadgh's entry on being a Dublin Dolly - I am too - don't know if we're related. My father's family was from Galway too!!!! I thought that all my relations were the only ones in Dublin!?!?
My grandmother was Margaret Dolly and my father was Aidan Dolly.

Not sure about any history other than what you know!!!
