My dads name is steven domingos, his dads name is louis domingos, my grandpa louie has brothers, tony, manuel, david, and a sister bea/ their parents are Otilia and Manuel "pop" Domingos. I would just like to get more information. They came to the USA from Pico, in the Azores

To add to my posting from last month I just found out today that my relative Lipordinha also went by the name Pauline Domingos. I think I found her and her husband John in the 1920 census were still living in Hudson. The census says they had 3 children Laura b. 1911, Mary b. 1915 & William b. 1916.If any of this sounds like your family please contact me.

I recently happend upon this name while searching my grandmothers family.
Thru the 1910 census and a marriage record from Hudson Mass I found my relative Lipordinha or(Lepordinha)Costa married a John or(Joao, or Joas)Domingos. They were married April 4th 1910 in Hudson. He was 27 and she was 19.
Lipordinha's parents were Manuel Costa & Maria Santos or Cantos depending on the record you view.
John's parents were Pasquel S Domingos & Mary Joseph

Lipordina had 2 other sisters that I know of thru an obit I found of one of the sisters.
Marianna Costa who married Manuel Custodia I think in Portugal.
And Adelina Costa who married Manuel in Hudson after her sister Marianna passed away.
My line comes from Marianna. She was my grandmother's birth mother. Adelina passed away in 1975. I remember her a little, I was 8 when she died.
I know it's probably impossible but I was trying to find the family line of one of the sisters to see if maybe they had any pictures or passed down information about the sisters most of all Marianna since she is my great grandmother.

when was your grandfather born? Did he emigrate to the US or did his son. My great-great grandfather went back to Rebieda Seca, Sao Jorge, to be with his wife. She refused to travel to America with him. Their daughter, my great grandmother, came to the US in 1916? and lived until her death in Gloucester, MA.

Does any of this sound familiar?

my name is james domingos,my son is joseph sousa domingos,my daughter is stephanie faith domingos,my brother is michael domingos,my fathers name was frank sousa domingos,his family history was unclear,i am trying to find our relatives,my fathers brothers were marcelina (sp?) and tom but dont know much more about them,any help is appreciated

I am searching for info on my great great grandfater. He left the azores in the late 1800's for Contra Costa, CA to seek his fortune in the Gold Rush. His name was Jaime Souza Domingo(e)s. He became an american citizen but He returned to Sao Jorge, to marry wife ? Martines and had my great grandmother Mary Domingo(e)s born june 13 1896 in azores-moved to Gloucester MA March 19,1913 since she was a us citizen. I know I have cousins in california. any other leads would be helpful
