My Dominguez line is from Cuba, Bejucal is given as the birthplace for my GGGrandfather Francisco Lino Dominguez b. 23 Sep 1853. His parents are listed on his Death Certificate as Francisco Dominguez and Petrona Acosta, both of Cuba. Francisco Lino's widow left some jewelry and money to relatives in Cuba, Josefa and Matilde Barona are mentioned, as is their then late sister Dominguita Barona. The mother of these girls is given in the Will as well: Juana Acosta y Gonzales widow of Jesus Maria Barona y Acosta. It occurs to me that Barona (the spelling in the will) might be spelled Varona. Also in this will we are told that the sisters are from Bejucal, Cuba. I would like to hear from any one who may know anything of these people.
