ggrandparents Michael DONAHUE and Annie HUGHES, immigrated from Ireland in 1884 to NYC. Had three children Rose b. 1886, Michael b. 1888 and John, b 1892. Michael I believe married a Florence. I am hoping to find decendents in this line. (John I believe was a catholic priest and does not have any decendants??. Rose was my grandmother, m. Martin Peter DUNN, 1908.) All remained in NYC area generally.

Also, I would like to begin research Irish roots. Any suggestions about where to begin with this surname? Thanks
