“Margaret Donahue, dau of Thomas and Nellie Connors Donahue
Thomas Donahues' home was Gort- a few miles from Galway, Connaught, Ireland.
Nellie Connors home was also near Galway, but nearer to County Clare than Galway.
Margaret Donahue's home was a county town called “Hawkhill”, a mile or two from Gort. Her hair was “black as a raven's wing.”
Thomas Garraty. Son of Anthony and Ann Mulroy Gerraty, born at Islandeady-3 miles from Wesport and 5 miles from Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland.

Original Names were spelled “O'Donoghue” - “Geraghty”
Donahues were known as “Black haired warriors.”

Margaret Donahue and Thomas GERRATY were the mother and father of the Gerraty family in Nashville-Annie, Margaret, Katie, Tom and Will.

Margaret Donahue was sister to Patrick Donahue. He was father to Nellie, Martin, Thomas, Annie, Katie and Johnny.
MY NOTES: Patrick Donahue's daughter Nellie is Ellen, my great grandmother. Patrick married Ellen Kevil in April 1875 in Kansas City Mo.
