Carmela Donato was born September 22, 1893 in Saint Lucia De Melo, Messina, Sicily. Her parents were Santo Donato and Lucia Guarnaccia. She emigrated to the U.S. in May of 1914 along with her brother, Joseph. He returned to Italy, i think. Does any of this information sound familiar? Can anyone help me track down my Sicilian relatives? Any help would be appreciated. thanks. heather.
