My husband's grandfather, Edward August was b. in 1880s in Ventura CA and d. abt 1937 in San Gabriel CA; buried at San Gabriel Mission (no marker). He md. Leona Edith Stokes and they had: Robert August Dondanville b. 2/15/1919 CA; d. 1971 Burbank CA. Phyllis Ann Dondanville (md. Arnold Gallagher) dec'd 1983; Dorothy Marie Dondanville (md. Wm. Charles Edward Beever) dec'd 3/83.

His great-grandfather, Murat or Maurice Dondanville md. a Ms. Shoemake/Shuemack, who was the mother of Edward plus 3 other sons: Joseph F. Dondanville b. 7/29/1889 CA; d. May 1969 San Gabriel CA; Louis J. Dondanville b. 2/07/1901; d. Sept. 1969 Alhambra CA; and Theodore W. Dondanville b. 4/28/1910 (all in CA). Theodore ('Ted') was known to have twin sons, Ron and Don Dondanville. My husband attended San Gabriel H.S. with them and I would like to locate them for possible family info and sharing of photos sent to me by Mike's cousin, Jeff Dondanville, who lives in Fullerton CA.
