Good news/bad news... There were quite a few Owen Donnelly's in Ballinagran, but it's a bit confusing as a result. Do you have any other clues like his father's name, wife's maiden name, siblings etc. Where have you heard that he is from?

Looking for anyone descended from the Donaly/Donelly/Donally families from the village of Ballinagran in the townland Cuilmore in County Mayo (near Claremorris & Ballindine). Many immigrated to San Francisco and Boston. I have local church records for Kilcolman parish with baptisms and marriages that I'm happy to share.

Does anyne have Donelly's who lived in Dover, New Hampshire in 1850-1880 in their famaily trees?
My great grandmother Bridget Donnelly immigrated to U.S from Ireland in 1851. She lived in Dover, New Hampshire and probably worked in the Mills. Bridget married Peter McShane, Oct 1858 at St. Mary's Catholic church in Dover, New Hampshire.

Hoping my William DONELLY may be kin of your grandmother.
Emma DAVIDSON b. 1854 lived in Harrisburg,PA,. In 1920 census is listed as living in Lemoyne, PA (just across the river from Harrisburg) with husband WILLIAM DONELLY 66 years and son LEROY 25 years.
She was also listed in my gggrandfather's obit (1923) as Mrs William DONELLY. Lemoyne,PA. She is the only link I have to siblings or maybe parents of my GGGrandfather Wm. W. DAVIDSON. Would appreciate any help.
Must be great fun to claim Gentleman Jim!!!

I found your post that mentioned Peter Pendergast of Harrisburg, PA. I am researching this family, as it relates to the Vaughn family. My records indicate Peter was born in 1879 and was one of nine children. His mother died at a young age, and I don't know anything about his father other than his name was James, and he was born in 1849. If this sounds familiar, please contact me at bearywise@comcast.net
