Hello, Doner Researchers. I requested this will hoping it would be Earth Shattering and answer All My Questions, but it did not. Maybe it will help in the future, and maybe it will help one of you right now. This is my best effort to transcribe it:

In the name of God, Amen. I, Christian Doner, of the County of Fairfield and State of Ohio, being weak in body but of sound ind, memory, judgment and understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following; that is to say:

First and principally, I commit my soul into the hand of Almighty God, and my body to the earth, to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named, and after my debts and funeral charges are paid, I devise and bequeath as follows:

Whereas I, and my beloved Wife Nancy, are now old and infirm, and not capable to take care of, and support, ourselves, and our means thereto being limited, it is my wish and desire that my son David shall support and maintain us so long as we shall live in this world with meat, drink, clothing and lodging sufficient and suitable for our advanced state of life. Therefore:

I give and bequeath unto my said son David, all my personal property that I now (illegible–possess? Double “s”s look strangely like a ‘p’) And the increase thereof.

I further give and devise unto my aforesaid son David, all my real estate, consisting of a tract of land in Clearcreek Township, in the county of Fairfield and State of Ohio, and is known by being part of the West half of Section No. One T. 12 and P. 20 containing forty four acres more or less, it being the place whereon I now live, to him the said David and his heirs and assigns in fee simple.

The above devise and bequest is not to include any property, money or other effects that I may hereafter inherit by devise, bequest or otherwise.

It is further my will and desire, that if my said son David shall neglect or refuse to furnish my said wife Nancy after my death, with all necessary meat, drink, clothing, lodging, fuel, and house room, or shall in any wise abuse, molest or ill treat her, or suffer the same to be done, then, and in that case my said wife Nancy shall have and make use of so much of my personal property as she may chose during her natural lifetime, and shall moreover have the privilege of renting my farm, whereon I now live and enjoy the rent thereof.

And whereas my worldly possessions are limited and not more than sufficient to support me and my wife Nancy, it is therefore my will and desire that my sons Abraham and John and the heirs of my deceased son Christian and my daughters Susanna wife of Rudolph Schenk, Anna - wife of David Long, and Magdelina shall not have any part of my personal or real estate that is now in my possession, or the increase thereof more than they have already received.

And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my youngest son David Doner Executor of this my last will and Testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made, ratifying and confirming this, and none other to be my last will and testament.

In witness whereof, I, the said Christian Doner, have hereunto set my hand and seal this 17th day of June One Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by Christian Doner ]
the above named Testator, as and for this last will and ]
testament, in presence of us, who, at his request, and in his ]
presence, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto: ]
Samuel Leather, Abel Morgan, Michael Nigh ]

The State of Ohio Fairfield County.

At a court of common plea ** at ** in and for said county, on the 22nd day of June, 1831, the last will and testament is produce din court and** Nigh and Law

(Hard if not impossible to read...last part is apparently the admission of the will into the probate court after Christian’s Death.)
