A new book has been written since the last one discussed in this post. It came out earlier this year. you can contact my sister Diana Donnay. She was the new author. I do not have her number handy, but I believe she is listed in Rockville, MN.

I was doing a family tree for my daughter and my mother had a Mathias Donnay related to the surname "Licke" which is my maternal grandmother's maiden name before she became a Canfield. I was wondering if I could get a copy of the book via electronically or where I may be able to attain one for my mother's research. Thank you very much as I just started a search on my own for my family. Thank you again and hope to hear from you soon.

I should be able to take the book to Kinkos and have them make an electronic copy. My Email is spsuauv@hotmail.com. Send me an Email, so I can get your address. Give me a couple of days and I will see if I can get it electronic. My sister is working on another Donnay story book also. She said she was going to work on it this Summer, since the last book is about 25 years old.

Jake

No that is the other Donnay's. My great Grandmother Mary Crespin-Donnay came here with 5 kids. Dominique isn't one. Kathleen is related to me, she's my mom's cousin. I'm pretty sure we have all of her family pictures from that era since her Grandmother lived with my mom until she died in 1959. Let me know if you need anything.
I was looking on line for some family history and came across your email on the subject. I am Petrus Mathias Donnay's great grandson (maternal side). My mom is Clara Theresa Donnay. One of my great aunts wrote a book called "The Donnay Story" that she distributed to may of the descendents. It has several hundred relatives in it. If you are interested, I can probably get a copy to you.

I've moved to Washington State, but most of my family is still back there.

Sincerely, Jerry Maurer

I am searching for information on Bertha Ashfield and Peter or Henry Donnay. These people would be my great great grandparents. I am also looking for information on Bernadette Ruegemer and William John Donnay as these would be my great grandparents.

Thanks

Amanda

Hi Mandy,
Merry Christmas to you too!
I think we better wait until after the Holidays to start the exchange. But one thing I would like to know right now; from which Donnay do you descent? I just yesterday found out about a new Donnay immigrant, Nicholas Donnay, b. Abt 1829, and his wife (Anna) Jacobs, b. Abt 1825, I didn't had them in my files yet. I already had the Petrus Mathias Donnay, b. 1799, family.
Mail me at irmalommen@home.nl.
Greetings,
Irma
Hello Irma,

I am still looking for information on the Donnay Family tree. I don't have all of my info though, because I recently relocated to another state and have not unpacked all of my stuff yet. I will have to give my info at a later time. If you still want to give me what you have, that would be great though.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks,

Mandie
