Trying to find Robert Sylvester Donnelson born 1859 in Appanoose County, Iowa to Michael W. and Nancy Donnelson. He married in 1877 to Sarah Catherine Plants. They moved to Harrison County Iowa by 1879 and lived there until 1899. Robert was convicted of a crime and sentened to prison but escaped on his way there. Where did he go and where did he die? Did he have another family? Sarah continued to live in the area of Magnolia, Iowa until her death in 1913.

Jeanne Donnelson (bMay1,1803 dd.Nov13,1849) had one son Solomon Cole who later married Laura Rathburn (dd. June 4,1864) they begat Benjamin Daniel Cole(b.1842 dd. 1896) Both served in the Civil War. Daniel married Sarah Camp they begat Dennis Cole who married Etta King, They had Hazel,Alice,Albert,Helen and Muriel(myrtl)Alice married Harry Gettings they had Vera.

I know of Jeanne Donnelson, had two sons, Benjamin and Solomon Cole. Both served in the civil war. Solomon Cole married Sarah Camp. So far up to Donnelson is all we got.
