I have been trying to trace my GGrand-Dad John Donoghue born approx 1856 in Ireland son of Patrick born approx late/early 1820/1830s .

On a copy of Johns Marriage Certificate in Liverpool , England 1885 it states that Patrick was then deceased occupation was a blacksmith .

I think Patrick may have stayed in Ireland .

Do you think there is any family connection ?
