First off, I'm so glad that I have found this message board. I know that there aren't many Doolin's left, at least in the US so I am looking up my roots. My father is Timothy Shawn Doolin, my grandfather Ryan Arthur Doolin, and my great-grandfather, who came over to the States directly from Ireland in the early 1800's with the Hiess family, is named Finnigan Doolin. My grandfather, Ryan married Kathryn Krauss and had four children: Pat, Colleen, Karen and Timothy. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could contact me with more information about my family history. My grandparents died when I was young and I don't know much and am very interested.
