John Dore (B. 1871) and his wife Clara (nee Herwitt Ford B.Abt 1870)were born in England and moved to a suburb near Montreal in 1901. They had two children in England, Joseph (B.1897) and Samuel (B.1900) in Leicestershire, these children were left in England when they went to Canada. They had four more children whilst in Canada, John (B.1901), Lailly (B.1902), Bonee (B.1905) and Harry (B.1907). I picked them up on the 1911 Census, living in Rang St Theresa, Chambly & Vercheres.

I have been unable to find any other information about the family. If anyone can help I would be very much appreciated.
