Jules Dore died Apr. 27, 1877 in Vermillion Parish. His widow, Eugenie Desormeaux, remarried Valerian Toups. You can find them in the 1880 census if you log on to Familysearch.org. The children are erroneously listed as Toups. Your ancestor Pierre is listed with them.
