I have not sent a reply to you because believe it or not I just noticed that I HADN'T replied. I'm very sorry to take so long.
I have come to realize that our family roots are of the spelling "SPOAR"...so the "DORN" is the correct spelling of my father's line, and "SPOAR" is part of our lineage too there in Fulton County.
Michael Dorn is buried in the Ephratah, New York cemetery and has a big monument there, which my distant 'cousin' Milton Dorn tells me was a big chore to erect back in those days.
