Ralph August Dorst, 93, of Ben Avon,
entered into the glorious kingdom of God on Friday, JuIy 15, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Dolores, of 43 years; five children, Marjorie Spenser, Richard (Connie) Dorst, David (Ann) Dorst, Sandra (John) Maples and Linda (Richard) Bauman; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was a brother of Dorothy Myers and Evelyn Thornhill, and the late Robert Dorst and Beatrice Wilson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was employed by H.J. Heinz Co. for 44 years in the production scheduling department. He served in the Navy during World War II, and was the manager of the Hazelwood Baseball Association for 22 years. A memorial service will be held in the Emsworth United Presbyterian Church at a later time. Arrangements by the THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY LTD., Blawnox.
