Researching Family lineage of:

Peter BUMGARNER who married in 1735 to Barbara DORST by Reverand Stover of the Evengelical Lutheran Church of Leban Township, PA; they perhaps afterward settled in Catawaba Valley, N.C. Reverand Stover baptised their sons John born 13 May 1740 and Johann 9 May 1742 in Lebanon, PA.

These surnames could be spelled differently today or at that time periods. i.e. BAUMGARTNER, BAUMGARDNER, BUMGARDNER, BUMGARNER -- DORST DOURST or etc. Trying to find the N.C. connection to both DORST and BUMGARDNER in the early 1700's!
