Just ran across your post from a few years ago. I am doing research on my Stoxen family relatives. Natalie Stoxen Stroup and Jessie Stoxen Dorwin were my great aunts. They are buried in Wauconda, IL. As far as I know, Natalie's husband, Harry, died of influenza in France during WWI. My great Uncle Glenway Dorwin lived a long full life with Aunt Jess in Wauconda, IL. They never had any children. The Stoxen family did a lot of homesteading in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and South Dakota areas. They did live in the areas of Pukwana and Bowdle, SD for a short time. Eventually they returned to the Southern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois area. Many of their descendants still live in those area.

If anyone has more information AC (August Conrad) Stoxen's parents I would love it if you would share.
