On the 1920 census in Eaton Washington Co, ID are Thomas G. born 1881 IN and Theresa E. Doss born 1880 IL, dau Lillie 1904 IL, Ethel 1908 OR, Harold 1910 IL, Chester 1913 OR, Lester 1915 IL, Orene 1916 IL, Mary 1917/18 OR

I found Thomas and Thresa (sic) Doss on the 1930 census in Union Co., OR both born IL 1881 and1880 respectively, son Chester A born IL 1913, Lester K IL 1914, dau Orene M. IL 1916, Mary E. OR 1918, Lloyd T. ID 1921, son Clarice E. OR 1922

In 1910 Thomas and Theresa are in Greene Co., IL with the first three children shown as on the 1920 census.

Thomas may be the Tom Doss in Milford Iroquios Co, IL for the 1900 census. The CA death index showed Lester Doss born 1934 with mother's maiden name Bower. There is a Bower family in this same township and county in 1900. No Theresa in their household, but she may have gone by another name. There IS a Lillia and a Harold. I found a Theresa Bowers in her mother's household in Cook Co., IL that is the right age and has a sister Lillie. I would just about bet they are related and this is the Theresa that married Thomas Doss.
