WANTED IN TENNESSEE

A Man Who Murdered His Brother-in-law Found at Jones City

Oklahoma City: Sheriff Mike O'Brien received a telegram from the TENNESSEE authorities stating that a sheriff would reach Oklahoma City shortly to secure Thomas Dossett, now in jail here, awaiting removal to TENNESSEE, for trial on the charge of murdering his brother-in-law at LaFollette, TENNESSEE, several years ago.

Dossett, who has been living in Oklahoma for some time under the assumed name of Clark, was arrested by Deputy Sheriff Cokel at Jones City where he was employed in a distillery.

Dossett admitted the killing to the officers, but protests it was done in self-defense.

A man from the same neighborhood in TENNESSEE, where Dossett lived recently came here and recognized him. Returning to TENNESSEE he told the authorities where they could find Dossett and his arrest is the consequence.
