All these names are familiar, linked with other people to the KY Dosseys. Mary Jane could have been the daughter of Kinchen born 1799, but it would have been by his second wife Lourena Branch, as Elizabeth Charter Dossey had died in 1829. But Mary Jane is not shown in either the 1850 or 1860 Censuses as a daughter of Kinchen.

If there were a Mary Jane Dossey, she might have married a Colbert/Calvert prior to marrying a Gosnell. But where was she in the 1850/1860 Censuses?
