Subject: Dodson/Dotson Tx and KY

I am looking for descendants who can help me solidfy the
family tree back in KY and help me trace back from there.

My grandfather was Alford Caldwell(Allie) Dodson.
Born in Washington County, Tx around 1875 and died
in Texola, OK c.1940. Had AC jr, Claude, Willie Emma,
and Lotta Mae and John.
Brother Frank and 2 sisters Mollie and Mary by his mother
Elizabeth Long. Also Edgar?, Julia, and others by Marcus's second
wife, Margaret?.
Marcus came to TX around 1855 and fought in the civil war from Houston and Galveston.
Marcus was supposedly born in Maysville, KY.
Father Charles Dodson/Dotson and mother Malinda Leach.
His brothers were Samuel, Francis, Alexander,
etc., and a couple of sisters. His brothers fought for teh
confederacy from KY
