I'm very happy to have some news from you.

Airolo is in fact a small village. There is one of the most famous mountain in Europe the St. Gotthard. There is a museum, very interesting, that it shows the real life of the people in 1800. While I was a student I've been a tourist guide there so if you want I can show it to you. We have mountains, nature, and very closed to Airolo you can also see and take if you want the most steep funicular in Europe.

The italian part of switzerland it is not very big. You can cross it in 2 hours! But we have a lot of history and many places where it will be impressive to go and to do all of that it'll take you time. How long are you going to stay? 2 weeks?

For the weather the best period to come it is end of June and July. In August we never know... It can already snow in the mountains.
