My name is Brenda Shirley I live in Australia but was born and lived in Belfast Northern Ireland until my early twenties. I am trying to trace my fathers family tree. He is 94and a bit vague on details!!!!!I know his fathers name was Joseph Dougan .Joseph I think had two brothers Fred and George. My dad 's dad was called Thomas Dougan . He has no idea who his grandmother was!!!!! Thomas was born in Ireland we have no idea where. My dad thinks that he might have been a sailor !!!! Could your Thomas have any connection o my Thomas???? Joseph Dougan my dads dad married a lady called Elizabeth Bruce.
