I am seeking any information about the parents and siblings of Willis B. DOUTHIT, my wife's ggg-grandfather. Willis was born about 1819 in Kentucky. He married twice; the first time to Harriet MCMAHAN in 1840 in Trimble Co., KY. The second time was also to a Harriet, last name MONROE, in 1853 in Franklin Co., KY.

The first marriage produced four children, Margaret (1843), George (1844), Thomas J. (1847), and James (1849). All were born in Kentucky. Thomas is my wife's gg-grandfather. The second marriage produced six children that I know of: Charles (1855), Willis (1857), Hannibal (1859), Alice (1864), Hattie (1866) and Minnie (1869). All children from the second marriage were born in Iowa.

Hi! I'm looking for any information on Lillian Douthitt b. 10 Aug 1904 in Minneapolis, MN, daughter of Daniel Douthitt (b. 1 Feb 1865 Wisconsin) and Amanda DeFore (b. 10 May 1868 Minnesota). Daniel and Amanda are buried in French Camp, CA. Both died in 1940. Lillian is my ggrandmother. My grandmother was raised in an orphanage, so we have almost no information re: this side of the family. Any news would help! Thanks!
