Hi, I am Robert Adris Dover , just now trying to use a computer i hunt and peck. Oscar adris Dover is my great grandfather.
He was married to Avalona Randall. Thay had three sons Felix Luther, Clay, Robert Elmer and a daugher Mattie. Robert
was my grand father b.May 25 1899 d. dec 1 1978. Oscar and Avolona lived with my grand father. Oscar died in 1947
Avolona died a couple years later ,they are buried at hollywood cemetry Gastonia. Oscars father was Felix Hill Dover.
His mother was Amanda Jane Dickson.Ihave a civil war letter written by Felix dated march 4 1862 Johns Island S.C.
I alsc have a family picture of Felix, Avalona,aunt Victoria, aunt cleo, aunt Ola, Grandma randall, Grandma Dover,Oscar
Uncle Rufus, Uncle Rush, Uncle Manuel, Henry and Sigfried Love. The pitcure is in pretty good shape for its age,i am
going to get it enhanced and make some copies of that and the letter . I got some old paintings Oscar did after his stoke.
My father was Adris Elmer Dover b.may 16 1930 d dec. 7 1989. I live in Gastonia N.C.I am very interested in the Dover
Geneolgy. Everyone is doing a good job.I need to get in touch with Dennis.
