Hello Liz, Further to my earlier note.
I have found some notes on the back of an old photograph my great uncle Jack Eaton took, and it shows a relationship between (Charles) Harry Dovey and a Dorothy Dovey. I was wondering if he married Dorothy (who I remember as "Aunty Dot") or if she may have been his sister? Also, did my grandfather have another (Australian) Brother "Thomas". I am also wondering if our Dovey line is connected at all with the Dovey line that includes Margaret Dovey who married (later) Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, and was the daughter of Justice Dovey, a great Australian High court judge of around the 40s. This is a great family myth in my family, and I would love to verify or discount it.
