I realize it's been quite a while since this query was posted, but my sister found it and we wanted to reply because we must be distant cousins.
My maiden name is Dovey, my father was John Fredrick Dovey who was born in Brooklyn New York to Fred and Isabelle Dovey who had 3 children: John, Gerald and Charlotte, all of whom are deceased. My sister had found information that did include Theresa Cain (also spelled Kane) as our great grandmother.
