Hey, I'm yet another Dovey. I live in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, USA, and I'm the only daughter of William C. Dovey Jr.
My great grandfather is Howard L. Dovey, who was a Lt. in WW1. I don't know of a Harold Dovey, but isn't Howard close enough?
My dad, William Cresswell Dovey Jr., was the son of William C. Dovey, who was the son of Howard. Dad has two brothers and two sisters, Richard Dovey (Married with two children), Dean Dovey (Married with two children), Barbara Dovey (Married, no children), and Ruth Dovey (Married with three children). I looked at a family tree a few weeks ago that I couldn't find today. The farthest back that our branch has traced to was Patricia Dogget. I'll see if I can dig up the family tree later and post it.
