My grandfather Samuel Dovey came from Birmingham, England and immigrated to Brooklyn, New York. One of his sons was named George so possibly we're related. He had 5 sons - George, Howard, Arthur, Fred and my dad Clifford and 2 daughters Beatrice and Alice. Samuel was born about 1870.
