Interested in learning more about Sarah FLOYD DOWDLE, born circa 1743/1743, probably St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginia;
she may have been a daughter of Jasper FLOYD, d. 1743, St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginia; and of his wife, Elizabeth CUPPER [COOPER]; they married 4 Dec 1723, Stafford County, VA;
she married Unknown DOWDLE and was a widow by 1794 as she was enumerated as 'Sarah DOWDLE' in 1794, in the will of James FLOYD, 1725-1797, [her brother] in Greenville County, South Carolina;
she was still living, in 1850, at the age of 106 years of age, and was enumerated as living in the household of Garland [Gallant] FLOYD, b. 1768, son of James FLOYD, 1725-1797, late of Greenville County, South Carolina...
