My grandfathers' sister Mariah Murray married Peter Dower. I believe they had 14 children. Jack has to be related to one of their boys? One was Murray Dower, whom I met when I was a little girl in Victoria, BC (my family had moved to Port Angeles, Wa.) They are across the Straits of Juan de Fuca from each other. I know he had a daughter, Helen, but I don't remember the names of his sons. I may be able to direct you to a newly found cousin from the Murray line. He is very knowledable on the Miramichi. Are you related to the Dowers? Maybe you can help me too. I have been trying to find Helen. I think their family had done their line fairly far back. Hope to hear from you.
