Searching for information about the Downard family. Settled in Hastings County, Ontario from Ireland about 1848. Sarah and her sister followed their parent's to Canda a couple of years later. Soon married my great-great grandfather, John Winters of Marmora, Ontario and had seven children. John died in 1867 and Sarah split her children up to ensure their survival. MAY have re-married to a william White and died in Orillia, Ontario in the early 1900's. Any information appreciated.
