Hi and thanks so much for your message. Yes, I have been searching through those church records and found the Morgan Downes family, too. Would very much appreciate any information you might want to share. I am guessing there might be a connection to William, since my g-grandfather Charles Downes brother Edward named his first son William and William Downes was sponsor at Charles' baptism. Just have not connected the dots. Also wondering about Tallagh listing in the Griffiths and Catherine Downes and family in 1901 Census in Tallagh. Are these near locations? thanks again
