Has anyone any information on the Downie family from Falkirk Scotland. My father was John Finnie Downie born on 1 Sept 1918 a metalworker who joined the Royal Artillery Paras during WW2 and became a Battery Sergeant Major prior to the war ending.He married Martha Mulvenna from Ballycarry Northern Ireland.
