Looking for Downs family who I believe immigrated to USA from Ireland. They immigrated to Ct, USA. My grandfather is George W. Downs and died in 1928 at quite a young age; I belive around the age of 42+/-. My mother was about 9 at the time. He married Angeline Spooner from Pawtaucket, RI. His only child that is still alive is named after him. But, being at such a young age when his father died, he does'nt remember. My mother's name was Barbara and he had two other daughters, Alice & Elizabeth. They all had children but no on has any info. Perhaps it's because he passed away so young and my grandmother re-married. Please, anything?
